UCAC4.cross_ref_tycho(ucac_labels, tycho_cat=None)[source]

This retrieves the Tycho 2 catalogue records for the requested UCAC4 star Zone, RNZ values.

Parameters:

  • tycho_cat (Tycho2 | None) – The tycho catalogue instance to use. If None, a default instance will be created

  • ucac_labels (Sequence | ndarray) – The UCAC 4 labels as an iterable of Zone, RNZ pairs

Returns:

The raw Tycho 2 star records.

Return type:

DataFrame
