Maplet.read

giant.utilities.stereophotoclinometry:

Maplet.read(file_name=None)[source]

This method reads data from a SPC Maplet file (normally MAPFILES/*MAPLETNAME*.MAP) and populates the attributes of this class with that data.

If file_name is not specified the file_name attribute of the class is used instead

Parameters:

file_name (Path | str | None) – The file to load the MAP data from
